Submission Guidelines

Blog Submissions

  • 350 to 700 words.

  • Articles, lists, reviews, short essays.

  • Include short bibliography.

  • Rolling submissions.

 

Magazine Submissions

  • Quarterly issues (January, March, July, October).

  • 1,000 words to 2,000 words.

  • Essays, short research papers, video essays, interviews.

  • References and a bibliography are required.

  • Submission deadline: 31st of December 2023.

 

Format, Style, and Other

  • Word document or Google docs.

  • Document must be titled: LastNameFirstName_topic_document type

  • Times New Roman, size 12, double-spaced.

  • Must be written in English unless provided with a translation.

  • Citations in Chicago Style.

  • All submissions should be sent to thesocialcanvasmag@gmail.com

  • Include 150-word bio and a picture (optional).
